Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences Bids Farewell to Its First MBBS Batch (2020)

Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS), the medical college under Noida International University, organised a farewell ceremony for its first MBBS batch of 2020 on campus, marking a milestone in the institution’s academic journey.

The event celebrated the achievements of the institute’s inaugural batch, with students and faculty acknowledging the support of university chairman Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh in strengthening academic initiatives and student development.

The ceremony began with a traditional lamp-lighting ritual attended by Director Dr. S.N. Gupta, Dean Dr. Manisha Jindal, Associate Dean Dr. Arun Chaudhary, Medical Superintendent Dr. Ranjit Ghuliani, and Academic Coordinator Dr. Mithila.

Cultural performances by junior students were part of the programme, adding to the farewell proceedings. The institute also recognised academic achievements, with certificates awarded to top-performing students.

Ms. Jonaakey Sarkar was named the “Best Outgoing Student” of the 2020 batch for her academic performance and overall contribution.

Students who participated in extracurricular activities across medical institutions were also felicitated, reflecting the institute’s focus on overall development.

The event concluded with students reflecting on their academic journey and preparing to enter the medical profession.
