Gaming and esports company NODWIN Gaming has reported consolidated revenue of ₹116 crore for the first quarter of FY27, while improving its operating performance despite the seasonal slowdown in business during the period.
The company said its EBITDA loss reduced to ₹7.53 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹11 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a 32% improvement driven by tighter operational discipline and efficiency measures.
During the quarter, NODWIN expanded its portfolio by launching initiatives in trading cards, board games, premium pop culture merchandise, and the National Math Bee in partnership with Bhanzu. It also announced that its creator-led gaming entertainment property, Playground, will expand to the United States alongside its India edition later this year.
The company strengthened partnerships with gaming publisher Garena to support the growth of Free Fire MAX in India and continued international projects through its partner support services business, including assignments for the Saudi Football Federation and the Belgian Football Association.
NODWIN said it expects around 30% organic growth during the current financial year and plans to resume acquisitions after refining its merger and acquisition strategy. It also expects upcoming quarters to benefit from changes in the scheduling of key esports events and revised business models for NH7 Weekender and Comic Con India.
The company has also deployed over 10 AI-powered workflow solutions across functions such as finance, human resources, legal, sales and production. These are expected to generate software replacement-led cost savings of nearly ₹12 crore over the next three years.
According to Co-founder and Managing Director Akshat Rathee, the company remains focused on improving operational efficiency, expanding internationally, and building a diversified youth entertainment business with sustainable long-term growth.
