NODWIN Gaming on Monday announced the appointment of Arnd Benninghoff, Executive Vice President of Gaming at Modern Times Group, to its Board of Directors as the company initiates a pre-IPO fundraising round and prepares for a future public listing.
The Gurugram-based gaming and esports company said the funding round will include a mix of primary capital to support global expansion through organic growth and acquisitions, along with a secondary sale to provide liquidity for existing shareholders.
The company said the move comes amid strong financial performance, reporting a 42 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue to USD 58.5 million in the first nine months of FY2026, while returning to EBITDA profitability.
Benninghoff brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the global gaming and media sectors. At Modern Times Group, he oversees strategic investments and portfolio growth. He previously served as Chief Digital Officer at ProSiebenSat.1 Media and Managing Director of SevenVentures.
Commenting on the appointment, Benninghoff said he looked forward to supporting the company’s expansion in emerging markets and contributing to its next phase of growth in gaming and digital entertainment.
NODWIN Gaming Co-Founder and Managing Director Akshat Rathee said Benninghoff’s experience in building and scaling global gaming and media ventures would help strengthen the company’s long-term strategy.
The company has also appointed UBS as the lead advisor for the pre-IPO fundraising and the planned public listing.
In recent years, NODWIN Gaming has expanded internationally with acquisitions such as StarLadder and partnerships linked to major gaming events including Evolution Championship Series. Its portfolio also includes properties such as DreamHack India and Comic Con India.
The company said it aims to strengthen its presence across emerging markets in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa by expanding its esports, gaming and youth entertainment ecosystem.
