NODWIN Gaming, South Asia’s leading gaming and esports company, in collaboration with JioStar, has unveiled Season 4 of the OnePlus Android Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS). Running from August 18 to September 14 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), the tournament airs live on Star Sports Khel and, for the first time, on JioStar, with a massive prize pool of ₹1.5 crore.
Season 4 is packed with innovations:
- Multi-Cam Broadcasts: A main cam, map cam, and team/player cams for immersive viewing.
- Dual-Structure Format: Alongside BGMS, the new BGCS (Challenger Series) opens the field to amateur and pro teams, including four all-women squads.
- Expanded Playoffs: Challenger teams can face off with BGMS squads, creating real opportunities for underdogs to shine.
- Return of Powerplay & Bounty System: Strategic features designed to reward aggression and risk-taking.
“BGMS has always been more than a tournament; it’s a cultural phenomenon,” said Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming. “This year, we’ve expanded the format to reflect the breadth of Indian gaming. From grassroots to greatness—this is BGMS like never before.”
Siddharth Sharma, Head – Audience Engagement at JioStar, added: “BGMS continues to break new ground in Indian esports. This season’s expanded format and diverse participation exemplify the kind of youth-driven content we aim to champion.”
Now in its fourth year on national TV, BGMS remains India’s premier BGMI esports tournament. Last year’s season drew over 145.5 million views, and Season 4 aims to raise the bar with inclusivity, scale, and next-level production value.
