Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of Noida International University (NIU) and NIIMS Medical College & Hospital, has been honoured with the ET Industry Leaders North 2026 Award for his contribution to the education and healthcare sectors.
The award was presented during the ET Industry Leaders North 2026 event, held under the theme “Celebrating the Growth Story, Powering India.” The recognition was announced by actor and entrepreneur Suniel Shetty.
According to the university, Noida International University has expanded as a multidisciplinary institution under Dr. Singh’s leadership, while NIIMS Medical College & Hospital has strengthened its presence in medical education, healthcare services, research, and patient care.
Accepting the honour, Dr. Singh said the award reflects the collective efforts of the university and medical college teams. He added that education and healthcare remain two key pillars of nation-building and reaffirmed the institutions’ commitment to developing skilled professionals, promoting innovation, and expanding opportunities for students and healthcare professionals.
University officials said the recognition highlights NIU’s continued focus on academic excellence, industry collaboration, international partnerships, research, and experiential learning. They added that the institution will continue working towards strengthening its educational ecosystem while contributing to the country’s higher education and healthcare sectors.
