Motul India has expanded its CSR healthcare initiative, ‘Sehat Ki Samriddhi’, to conduct 108 free health camps across 27 districts between April and December 2026. The programme, implemented in partnership with Smile Foundation, aims to provide healthcare services to more than 21,000 beneficiaries, primarily auto mechanics and their families.
The company said the initiative has grown significantly since its launch in 2024. After conducting 40 camps in 11 districts during its first year and 51 camps in 2025, Motul India has more than doubled its outreach this year. Since the programme began, it has organised 91 free health camps in automotive hubs such as Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Mangalore, benefiting over 18,300 people, including more than 5,200 women and children.
The health camps offer doctor consultations, blood sugar and haemoglobin screening, medicines and first-aid kits. According to the company, the camps are organised close to workplaces so that mechanics, many of whom lack health insurance, can access medical care without affecting their livelihoods.
Nagendra Pai, CEO of Motul India and South Asia, said the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to improving healthcare access for auto mechanics and their families by bringing medical services directly to their communities.
Santanu Mishra, Co-founder of Smile Foundation, said the initiative supports preventive healthcare by providing doctors, health screenings and diagnostic services to workers who are often exposed to occupational health risks.
Motul India said it will continue expanding the programme to improve healthcare access for communities associated with India’s automobile industry.
