Naman Mathur, popularly known as Mortal, has earned a historic nomination for the coveted ‘Streamer of the Decade’ title at the Esports Awards 2025. The event, which marks a decade of celebrating gaming excellence, will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on August 10.

Mortal is the only Indian gamer to be nominated in this special Decade Edition, sharing the spotlight with international icons like Ninja, Shroud, Tarik, Pokimane, and IBAI. This is his seventh consecutive nomination since 2020 across categories such as ‘Streamer of the Year’, ‘Esports Mobile Player of the Year’, and ‘Esports Personality of the Year’. In 2024, he made history by becoming the first Indian to win the ‘Esports Content Creator of the Year’.

As co-founder of S8UL Esports, Mortal has been instrumental in shaping the Indian gaming landscape. With 7 million YouTube subscribers and over 5.1 million Instagram followers, he continues to inspire millions of young gamers and content creators in India and beyond.

S8UL itself has gained international recognition, becoming the only organization to win ‘Content Group of the Year’ three times in a row at the Esports Awards and is set to compete at the Esports World Cup this year.

Mortal’s nomination underscores his decade-long influence and leadership in the global esports community.
