
Max Level, a marketing and PR agency specialising in gaming, has been appointed as the public relations partner for Riot Games in India and South Asia. Riot Games, the global video game publisher known for titles such as League of Legends, VALORANT, and Team Fight Tactics, selected Max Level following a competitive multi-agency pitch.
Under the new mandate, Max Level will lead Riot’s communications strategy across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and other South Asian markets. The agency will support Riot’s efforts in regional brand building, esports promotion, product updates, and community engagement. The partnership is aimed at strengthening Riot’s footprint in a region experiencing significant growth in gaming and esports.
The collaboration is grounded in shared values focused on community, cultural relevance, and player-first experiences. Riot Games brings global expertise in gaming and transmedia entertainment, while Max Level contributes regional insight and experience, having worked with brands like NODWIN Gaming, SuperGaming, KRAFTON, and ESL FACEIT Group.
Siddharth Nayyar, Co-founder and CEO of Max Level, described the mandate as a “defining moment,” highlighting the opportunity to help scale Riot’s presence in a rapidly expanding market.
According to the Lumikai State of India Gaming Report 2024, India’s gaming industry reached $3.1 billion in FY23 and is projected to grow to $7.5 billion by FY28. With over 568 million gamers—nearly half of whom are paying users—India presents a key market for global publishers.
Max Level’s responsibilities will include campaign execution, regional amplification of Riot’s global esports events, and strategic counsel on community engagement and creator partnerships.
