The JS Institute of Design (JSID), a leading design institute in India, collaborated with the Institute of Counsellor Training Research and Consultancy (ICTRC) Private Limited as the knowledge partner at the Conference of School Teachers held in Delhi NCR. The event brought together over 80 school counselors and teachers from more than 70 schools.
Mrs. Nirmal Yadav, Principal of Colonel’s Central Academy, presided over the event as Chief Guest, emphasizing the importance of integrating innovative teaching methods into school curriculums to prepare students for the demands of a rapidly evolving world.
The highlight of the conference was a session by Ms. Nien Siao, Dean of JSID, on the transformative power of “Design Thinking.” Known for her innovative approach in design education, Ms. Siao shared actionable insights on applying design thinking to classroom environments. She demonstrated how this methodology fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students, equipping educators with practical tools for immediate implementation.
