ISOLA to Host IFLA–Asia Pacific Regional Congress 2025 in Mumbai: “Growth Paradox – Reimagining Landscapes

India to welcome global leaders in landscape architecture and urban design for Asia’s largest forum on sustainable growth and ecological resilience.

The Indian Society of Landscape Architects (ISOLA) has announced the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA)–Asia Pacific Regional Congress 2025, India’s largest international conference on landscape architecture, to be held on November 14–15, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai.

Themed “Growth Paradox: Reimagining Landscapes,” the event will unite global and Indian thought leaders in landscape design, urban planning, ecology, and policy to explore new models of sustainable and inclusive growth. Supported by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as its Green Supporter, along with Meet in India, Incredible India, IGBC, CEE, IIA, BNHS–India, CDOS, and CREDAI–MCHI, the congress will highlight how landscape architecture can redefine urban resilience.

Leading brands such as Freeform, Vyara, Wipro, K-Lite, SMARK, Fluidra by Astral, Simpolo, and KSR Brothers will exhibit cutting-edge innovations at the event.

Urmila Rajadhyaksha, President, ISOLA, said, “The congress is a platform for India to engage in global dialogue on shaping sustainable environments and inspiring collective action.”

The two-day event will host 40+ international speakers, panel discussions, exhibitions, and a student-led Global Landscape Studio, culminating in a Manifesto Declaration promoting sustainable growth. The congress will also feature a cultural evening and the IFLA Awards Gala Nite, celebrating excellence in landscape architecture across the Asia–Pacific region.
