
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna’s Certificate Programme in Generative AI for Professionals has recorded strong participation and learner satisfaction across multiple batches, reflecting rising demand for industry-focused artificial intelligence training.
According to programme details shared by the institute, the first batch, conducted from May to November 2025, enrolled 190 professionals and recorded an average learner satisfaction (CSAT) score of 4.5 out of 5 across modules.
The second batch, which began on August 31 and is scheduled to conclude on February 28, has enrolled 308 professionals. The cohort has reported a CSAT score of 4.2 out of 5 so far and is currently undergoing training in web application development as part of the curriculum.
An IIT Patna representative said the programme has been designed to align with evolving industry standards and focuses on hands-on learning. The course aims to help working professionals apply generative AI tools and techniques to real-world business and technology use cases.
The institute said subsequent batches have also seen continued interest, indicating sustained demand for structured learning in generative AI among professionals seeking to upgrade their skills.
The programme curriculum includes practical exposure to building AI-powered applications and understanding emerging use cases of generative AI across sectors.
IIT Patna added that admissions for the upcoming batch are currently open, with the next cohort expected to commence later this year.
