The IESA Vision Summit 2025, held as part of Gujarat SemiConnect 2025, is underway at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. Inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel on March 5, the summit has brought together over 1,500 global industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers under the theme “Silicon Gujarat: Powering India’s Semiconductor Revolution.”
A key highlight was the launch of the India Semiconductor Manufacturing Supply Chain Report and the ‘Make in India’ Product Showcase, reinforcing India’s growing semiconductor ambitions. Several MoUs were signed between IESA and industry leaders like Micron, Jabil, JETRO, and TSMT, strengthening global collaborations. The groundbreaking ceremony for Kaynes Semicon OSAT Project also took place, alongside major announcements from key semiconductor companies.
The summit continues with discussions on India’s fabless semiconductor ecosystem, covering medtech, spacetech, EVs, and high-precision fab construction. Global roundtables with Japan, Korea, Singapore, the US, and the EU aim to foster international cooperation.
On March 8, attendees will visit Dholera and Sanand industrial sites, highlighting Gujarat’s role in India’s semiconductor manufacturing revolution. The event will conclude with the Technovation Awards, recognizing pioneers in the Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) sector.
