Galgotias University Gets Platinum Rating in Education from QS I-GAUGE

Galgotias University has received a Platinum Subject Rating in Education from QS I-GAUGE, following an assessment against the organisation’s subject-rating methodology.

QS I-GAUGE is an India-focused education rating system that assesses institutions and individual subjects against defined quality benchmarks.

The rating comes as the university has also reported improved positions in the QS and Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027.

In the QS World University Rankings 2027, Galgotias University is placed in the 1201-1400 global band and ranks 46th in India. It is also placed among the top 16 private universities in India and third among private universities in Uttar Pradesh.

In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, the university is in the 1001-1200 global band, compared with 1201-1500 in the previous edition. It ranks 41st among universities in India, compared with 65th previously, and 20th among private universities and institutions, compared with 27th.

Dr Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer, Galgotias University, said the Platinum Subject Rating was a recognition of the university’s work on academic standards and that the focus would remain on sustaining them.

The university said the subject rating and institutional rankings use different assessment methodologies and provide separate reference points for its academic and institutional performance.
