Durakraft highlights demand for energy-efficient construction materials

Durakraft Extrusions said it is aligning its product offerings with the growing demand for durable and energy-efficient construction materials amid rapid urbanisation and evolving housing needs in India.

The company stated that increased construction activity across Tier 1, 2 and 3 cities is driving demand for materials that improve thermal efficiency, reduce maintenance costs and enhance durability in both residential and commercial projects.

Durakraft said its uPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) windows and doors are designed to provide better insulation, noise reduction and longer product life, in line with changing consumer preferences and sustainability considerations.

“Adoption of energy-efficient materials is gaining traction across urban markets, supported by rising awareness and demand for sustainable construction solutions,” said Ankit Modi.

The company added that it is focusing on developing cost-effective products aimed at supporting builders and homeowners seeking long-term value and performance.

India’s construction sector has been witnessing steady growth, driven by urban expansion, infrastructure development and increasing demand for housing, prompting material manufacturers to adapt to evolving industry requirements.
