Drychem India Pvt. Ltd. on Tuesday said it has strengthened infrastructure across more than 100 schools in FY 2025–26 under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, as part of efforts to support education and community development.
The programme, implemented through its CSR arm Walplast Welfare Foundation, focuses on improving basic infrastructure in government and community schools to enhance learning conditions and day-to-day operations.
The initiative spans multiple states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, aligned with the company’s operational footprint.
Drychem said it has facilitated access to essential infrastructure such as computers, classroom furniture, water coolers, sanitation facilities, lighting systems, and learning materials. The interventions are aimed at improving classroom environments, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
The programme also extends to tribal schools, gram panchayats, and select rural healthcare facilities, supporting broader community development.
“Strengthening infrastructure across schools reflects our long-term commitment to improving access to quality education,” said Kaushal Mehta, Managing Director, Drychem India Pvt. Ltd.
The company added that the initiatives are being implemented in collaboration with local authorities and school administrations to ensure effective execution and sustainability.
Drychem also highlighted its earlier partnership with Project Nanhi Kali, which focused on supporting girls’ education.
The company said it will continue to expand its CSR interventions aimed at enabling equitable learning environments and community development.
