Dr. Vandana Singh Appointed Chairperson of FAII’s Aviation Cargo Wing

The Federation of Aviation Industry in India (FAII) has appointed Dr. Vandana Singh as the Chairperson of its Aviation Cargo Wing. A seasoned leader with over 28 years of experience in aviation and logistics, Dr. Singh is set to drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in India’s cargo operations.

Her appointment aligns with FAII’s commitment to advancing India’s aviation sector in line with the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives. FAII, recognized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of External Affairs, plays a key role in various aviation verticals, including manufacturing, MRO, military aviation, drones, and cargo operations.

One of FAII’s notable initiatives is the conceptualization of an Aviation University, aimed at producing highly skilled aviation professionals for global industry demands.

Arun Kumar Sharma, Director General of FAII, welcomed Dr. Singh, stating, “Her leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation and fostering global collaboration in the cargo sector.”
