CyberPowerPC India has launched a first-of-its-kind ‘Esports Masterclass’ series at ApeCity, Navi Mumbai, aimed at educating both gamers and their parents about India’s rapidly growing esports ecosystem.
The initiative brings together industry leaders, esports athletes, and content creators to foster open dialogue around the opportunities, challenges, and structure of the gaming industry. The goal is to break common myths, promote understanding, and build stronger family support systems for aspiring esports professionals.
The inaugural session featured Vishal Parekh, COO of CyberPowerPC India, alongside Jai Shah and Yash Bhanushali, co-founders of Orangutan and ApeCity. They addressed over 30 participants, highlighting career prospects in gaming and the importance of balancing studies with esports ambitions.
The second session, ‘The Journey of Becoming an Esports Athlete’, featured pro gamers Arman (Aaru) and Ankit Shukla (Akop), who shared their personal journeys, struggles, and advice for young players.
This initiative comes at a pivotal moment, with esports gaining mainstream recognition in India. With 2.8 million projected participants in 2025 and growing prize pools, the industry is booming. CyberPowerPC, known for its high-performance gaming PCs, is driving grassroots engagement and supporting talent development.
The weekly masterclasses are open to all, with updates and registrations available via CyberPowerPC India’s Instagram.
