Continua Kids, a paediatric and neurodevelopment care network, has opened its 36th outpatient department (OPD) centre in India with the launch of a new multispeciality facility in Prayagraj.
The company said the centre aims to improve access to specialised child healthcare services in Tier-II cities, where families often travel to metropolitan centres for paediatric neurology and developmental consultations. The new facility is expected to provide integrated services locally, reducing the need for repeated long-distance travel.
The Prayagraj centre will offer paediatric neurology, developmental paediatrics, occupational therapy, speech therapy, applied behaviour analysis (ABA) therapy, special education, physiotherapy and clinical psychology services under one roof. The focus will be on early screening, diagnosis and structured intervention.
Dr Puja Kapoor, Co-Founder and Paediatric Neurologist at Continua Kids, said the initiative seeks to ensure continuity of care for children with developmental and neurological conditions by making services more accessible.
The centre was inaugurated in the presence of Dr J V Rai, Senior Paediatrician, and Dr Naveen Kumar, Consulting Paediatric Cardiologist. Dr Jayanti, Paediatric Neurologist, along with Dr Naveen Kumar, will oversee clinical operations at the facility.
Continua Kids said it is also developing assessment tools and a digital application platform to support coordinated care and progress tracking. The Android version of the app is ready, while the iOS version is under development.
Located in Sobhatiyabagh, the centre will cater to families across Prayagraj and nearby districts.
