Congress Accuses BJP and AAP of Collusion in Displacing Delhi’s Slum Dwellers

Congress candidate from Shakur Basti, Satish Luthra, launched a scathing attack on AAP’s Satyendra Jain, accusing him of failing to address critical issues in the constituency despite holding key portfolios like health, urban development, water, power, and industries.

“Satyendra Jain has utterly failed to deliver on his promises, leaving the people of Shakur Basti deprived of basic necessities like clean water, proper sewer systems, and adequate healthcare,” said Luthra. He also criticized BJP candidate Karnail Singh for being disconnected from the local issues. “Karnail Singh is an outsider who does not understand the struggles of our community,” he stated.

Luthra reaffirmed his dedication to the people, vowing to prioritize their needs and resolve pressing issues. “The residents of Shakur Basti deserve a leader who genuinely cares for their well-being,” he added.

Highlighting alleged BJP-AAP collusion in the demolition drives and displacement of slum dwellers, Luthra said, “The public is fed up with the incompetence and corruption of both parties. Congress is determined to stop the harm caused to Delhi’s residents and emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.”

Residents of Shakur Basti have increasingly shown their support for Luthra’s campaign. “We are tired of empty promises from the BJP and AAP. Satish Luthra is the only candidate who genuinely cares and can make a positive difference,” said a local resident.

With growing momentum, Congress is hopeful of reclaiming Shakur Basti and addressing the community’s long-neglected concerns.
