CloudTV Becomes First Indian OS Brand to Launch 3D Ads on CTV

CloudTV, India’s first certified Smart TV OS, has announced the launch of its 3D Ad-Unit on CloudTV-powered devices, marking a significant innovation in the connected TV (CTV) advertising landscape. With this, CloudTV becomes the first Indian OS brand to introduce immersive, non-intrusive 3D ads, designed to deliver higher engagement and brand recall for advertisers.

With a reach of more than 12 million users across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities and powering over 250 smart TV brands, CloudTV’s 3D ads create a premium brand environment that stands out from traditional formats. The ads are engineered to be memorable without disrupting the viewing experience, setting a new benchmark for impactful CTV advertising.

The effectiveness of this format has already been demonstrated in partnership with AiYO, an AI-first content studio, and their client MyFitness. Campaigns featuring 3D ads recorded 25% higher completion rates compared to regular masthead video ads.

“With the launch of 3D ads, CloudTV is positioning itself at the forefront of CTV innovation,” said Abhijeet Rajpurohit, COO and Co-founder, CloudTV. “As brands look for new ways to drive attention and engagement, our 3D ad inventory offers a compelling and differentiated solution.”

CloudTV has also recently introduced its dedicated CTV advertising platform and partnered with Magnite (NASDAQ: MGNI), the world’s largest independent sell-side advertising company. A new website has been launched for brands, agencies, and media buyers to explore CloudTV’s growing inventory and audience insights.
