BLS International, the parent company of BLS E-Services, has been awarded a significant mandate by the Government of Odisha to facilitate beneficiary verification for the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana–Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY-GJAY).
In collaboration with the National Health Authority (NHA), this initiative aims to distribute co-branded AB PMJAY-GJAY PVC health cards to 3.5 crore beneficiaries across Odisha. BLS will operate under NHA and state directives to expedite pending card issuances and ensure seamless execution.
“We are honored to be entrusted with this critical responsibility,” said Shikhar Aggarwal, JMD of BLS International and Chairman of BLS E-Services. “This scheme is a transformative step towards making healthcare accessible and affordable, and we are committed to delivering efficient and timely verification services.”
Highlighting BLS’s broader efforts, Aggarwal added, “In Punjab, we are working with the Department of Food and Civil Supplies to offer doorstep Aadhaar services to vulnerable populations.”
The AB PMJAY-GJAY scheme provides comprehensive health coverage of ₹5 lakh per family annually, with an additional ₹5 lakh allocated for women members, targeting Odisha’s economically weaker sections.
