In a landmark move set to reshape India’s sustainable transport landscape, BattRE Electric Mobility has partnered with logistics aggregator EV91 and EV financing firm evpe to deploy 10,000 electric two-wheelers across urban centers. The ₹100 crore strategic alliance, facilitated by startup enabler BizDateUp, aims to boost last-mile delivery efficiency and reduce urban emissions.
As part of the agreement, BattRE will supply its cutting-edge EVs, while evpe will finance the fleet to enable EV91’s operational scale-up. The partnership positions BattRE for accelerated growth and reinforces its role in India’s evolving electric vehicle ecosystem.
“This partnership strengthens our commitment to sustainable mobility and expands our market presence,” said Pankaj Sharma, Co-Founder of BattRE. Echoing the sentiment, Arun Kumar, Founder & CEO of EV91, added, “Deploying 10,000 EVs is a step towards easing urban congestion and lowering carbon emissions.”
Rohan Yeggina, CEO of evpe, emphasized the importance of accessible EV financing, while Jeet Chandan of BizDateUp highlighted the collaboration’s transformative potential for India’s EV ecosystem.
The rollout is scheduled to begin in the coming months, aiming to support India’s environmental and mobility goals by enhancing clean transport options and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
