Amity Global School, Noida, has announced that one of its primary grade students secured four medals at a recent inter-academy gymnastics competition held in the city.
According to a statement issued by the school, Reyansh Aggarwal, a Grade P1 student, won three gold medals and one silver medal at the 2nd Rise Inter-Academy Gymnastics Competition hosted by Rise Sportyze. The event saw participation from young gymnasts representing multiple academies.
The school said Reyansh competed across several events, demonstrating flexibility and control in his routines. Judges and coaches at the event appreciated his performance, the statement added.
Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson of the Amity Group of Schools, congratulated the student on his achievement. She said the recognition reflects the importance of encouraging sports participation alongside academics from an early age, as it helps build discipline and confidence among children.
Amity Global School, Noida, offers IB and Cambridge curricula and promotes co-curricular engagement as part of its development programmes. School representatives said such competitions provide a platform for young students to showcase their abilities and gain exposure to structured sporting events.
The school also acknowledged the role of the student’s family in supporting his training and participation in gymnastics.
