Author Amish Tripathi has collaborated with music group Trilok to release a new rendition of Shiv Tandav, marking his debut as a lead vocalist.
The track, released on April 30, is a reinterpretation of the traditional hymn dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to the creators, the collaboration aims to combine literary storytelling with contemporary devotional music.
Trilok, associated with Collective Media Network, is known for presenting Indian spiritual compositions in a modern format. The group’s earlier works include renditions of devotional tracks such as Achyutam Keshavam and Shiv Kailasho Ke Vasi.
Tripathi, known for his mythology-based books, has explored themes around Lord Shiva in his writing. The latest collaboration extends that engagement into music, the statement said.
