Air India has introduced exclusive discounted fares and special benefits for students, enhancing affordability and convenience for young travelers across its domestic and international networks.
Students can now avail up to 10% discount on base fares, 10kg additional baggage allowance, and a one-time free date change when booking through Air India’s official channels. The offer applies to Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class bookings.
“Our new student fare benefits aim to make world-class flying more accessible for young learners, enabling them to explore new opportunities and cultures with ease,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India.
Students traveling on Air India’s extensive network—covering 42 international destinations like the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia, and 49 Indian cities—can now enjoy added flexibility and savings. Mobile app bookings also eliminate convenience fees, saving up to ₹999 on international flights. Payments made via select UPI, netbanking, or partnered bank cards offer additional discounts, potentially totaling up to 25% savings.
Air India’s inflight entertainment, available fleet-wide, includes free access to movies, shows, and wireless streaming with Vista Stream. International travelers can also enjoy inflight WiFi on select flights.
Eligible students must be 12-30 years old for international travel (12+ for domestic) and enrolled in a recognized full-time course. Bookings are available exclusively on Air India’s website, app, or ticketing offices.
