
Air India Express is set to make history as the first airline in India to operate from two airports in the National Capital Region (NCR). Starting March 1, 2025, the airline will commence operations from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, launching direct flights to Bengaluru, Goa and Kolkata. This expansion is aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and offering greater convenience to travelers.
Hindon Airport, strategically located in Ghaziabad, provides a viable alternative for passengers from Central and East Delhi, Noida and nearby areas, including Akshardham, Anand Vihar, Indirapuram, and Vaishali. It is also expected to serve travelers from neighboring states, including cities like Meerut, Haridwar, Dehradun and Mussoorie in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Flight Schedule and Fares
The new routes offer convenient timings and competitive inaugural fares. Passengers can book tickets starting at ₹4,400 for Hindon–Kolkata, ₹4,900 for Hindon–Goa, and ₹6,000 for Hindon–Bengaluru.
Hindon Flight Schedule (from March 1, 2025):
- Hindon–Bengaluru: Departs 15:45, Arrives 18:40 (Daily except Saturday)
- Hindon–Goa: Departs 10:30, Arrives 13:15 (Daily)
- Hindon–Kolkata: Departs 17:20, Arrives 19:40 (Daily except Saturday)
Expanding Horizons
This expansion underlines the airline’s commitment to providing greater accessibility and affordable travel options. Air India Express currently operates over 400 daily flights and connects 50+ domestic and international destinations, with a fleet nearing 100 aircraft.
