Air India Expands Connectivity to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

In response to surging travel demand for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, Air India has significantly expanded its operations to Prayagraj. The airline has introduced additional flights from Delhi and Mumbai, enhancing accessibility to one of the world’s largest spiritual gatherings.

Starting 1 February 2025, Air India will operate a second daily flight between Delhi and Prayagraj, offering travelers greater flexibility. Additionally, a special daily service between Mumbai and Prayagraj, which commenced on 28 January 2025, will continue until 28 February 2025.

With these enhancements, Air India will now operate 21 weekly flights to Prayagraj, ensuring seamless connectivity for pilgrims and visitors. The airline’s flights provide convenient connections via Delhi to various domestic and international destinations, including North America, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.

Enhanced Flight Schedule to Prayagraj (1 – 28 February 2025):

  • Delhi-Prayagraj (AI488) – Departs at 07:00, arrives at 08:05
  • Prayagraj-Delhi (AI489) – Departs at 08:35, arrives at 09:40
  • Delhi-Prayagraj (AI843) – Departs at 13:00, arrives at 14:10
  • Prayagraj-Delhi (AI844) – Departs at 14:50, arrives at 16:00
  • Mumbai-Prayagraj (AI2843) – Departs at 09:25, arrives at 11:30
  • Prayagraj-Mumbai (AI2844) – Departs at 12:15, arrives at 14:25
