
Acronis, a global leader in cybersecurity and data protection, successfully hosted the Acronis TRU Security Day 2025 in Mumbai. The partner-focused event, held at Novotel Mumbai International Airport, brought together managed service providers (MSPs), industry experts, and technology leaders to discuss the future of cybersecurity and business growth.
The one-day event offered partners insights on compliance strategies, business expansion opportunities, and intelligence from the Acronis Threat Research Unit (TRU). Attendees explored Acronis’ product roadmap, opportunities in the Microsoft ecosystem, and benchmarks for MSPs globally.
Keynote speakers included Katya Ivanova, Chief Sales Officer; Rajesh Chhabra, General Manager for India & South Asia; and Pasha Ershow, Senior Vice President, APJ & Middle East. They shared strategies on partner success, emerging threats, and innovations in AI-driven cybersecurity that empower MSPs to scale effectively.
The event also featured a panel discussion on compliance, as well as expert sessions on OT (operational technology) security. Prakash Kamalakannan, Senior Security Researcher, presented TRU’s latest findings on India’s cyber landscape, while Sahil Singh, Solutions Engineer, demonstrated OT-specific protection features to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
