The winter schedule will be rolled out in phases and will be supported by a fleet of more than 105 aircraft. Weekly flights are expected to rise from around 3,150 in Summer 2026 to nearly 4,100, while one-stop connections will increase from about 1,330 to nearly 1,600 per week.
New international routes include Abu Dhabi-Goa (Mopa), Amritsar-Abu Dhabi, Bangkok-Indore, Bangkok-Kochi, Bengaluru-Kathmandu, Chennai-Singapore, Delhi-Riyadh, Dubai-Goa (Dabolim), Lucknow-Riyadh and Mumbai-Kuwait.
New domestic routes include Ahmedabad-Delhi, Bengaluru-Coimbatore, Bengaluru-Jodhpur, Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Udaipur, Hyderabad-Pune, Mumbai-Nagpur and Kolkata-Pune.
Air India Express Chairman Nipun Aggarwal said the expansion reflects confidence in India’s growth and the increasing importance of air connectivity for trade, tourism and economic development.
He said the airline remains focused on disciplined and sustainable growth while expanding connectivity across metros, emerging cities and underserved markets.
