NODWIN Gaming will host the maiden edition of Jalandhar Comic Con on November 21-22 at Lovely Professional University (LPU), bringing the pop-culture event to Punjab for the first time.
The two-day event will feature comic and anime experiences, gaming zones, cosplay showcases, creator interactions, live music and performances, stand-up comedy, merchandise and brand experiences.
Comic Con India CEO Shefali Johnson said the event would provide a platform for people in Jalandhar to come together and celebrate stories, characters and fandoms.
“Punjab has always had a larger-than-life way of expressing itself,” Johnson said, highlighting the state’s storytelling traditions and cultural heritage.
NODWIN Gaming Co-founder and Managing Director Akshat Rathee said Jalandhar’s youth culture and community-oriented traditions made it a suitable destination for the event.
The Jalandhar edition is part of Comic Con India’s expansion into new markets beyond major metropolitan cities. The organisers said the event will focus on audiences interested in gaming, music, anime and wider pop culture.
The event will be held at LPU from 11 am onwards on both days.
