
Swinburne University of Technology has opened applications for its Bachelor of Business programme for the 2027 intake. The three-year undergraduate degree is designed to provide students with foundational business knowledge along with opportunities to specialise in different areas of business.
The programme covers subjects including financial decision-making, economics, business digitalisation, management, sustainability, entrepreneurship, statistics and marketing. Students can choose from majors such as Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics and Analysis, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Marketing and Sports Management.
According to the university, students can also develop digital and industry-related skills through platforms including MYOB, Xero and Google Analytics. The programme includes opportunities to work on sustainability projects and engage with industry experts and mentors.
Students can gain practical experience through Swinburne’s Work Integrated Learning programmes, which may include placements, internships and industry-linked projects.
The Bachelor of Business is offered at Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus over three years of full-time study or an equivalent part-time duration. The programme comprises 300 credit points, including eight core units, eight major units and eight elective units. Students can also undertake an International Business Minor and may have options to combine the degree with selected double-degree programmes.
For the 2027 intake, the programme is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2027, with applications closing on January 15, 2027. Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an equivalent international qualification and meet the university’s admission requirements.
The English language requirement includes an IELTS overall band score of 6.0, with no individual band below 6.0, or an equivalent recognised qualification. The annual tuition fee is listed at AUD 43,430, approximately INR 29.45 lakh based on the figure provided by the university.
Graduates can pursue roles across areas including accounting, business administration, business analytics, finance, human resources, logistics and supply chain management, marketing and sports management.
