Kitty Su to Launch Beauty Brand Alongside Fifth Edition of Battle Royale Drag Competition

Kitty Su is set to launch Kitty Su Beauty, a queer-led beauty brand, with its debut lipstick collection alongside the fifth edition of its Battle Royale drag performance competition on August 22.

The launch event, The Battle Royale II, will be held at The Crystal Ballroom, The LaLiT New Delhi. The event will combine the launch of the beauty brand with a drag competition featuring performers from across India.

The Battle Royale series began during Kitty Su’s 14th Kittyversary in New Delhi and later expanded through editions in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The latest edition will bring together winners, fan favourites and emerging performers.

The competition will feature a lip-sync championship with multiple elimination rounds, followed by a final between two contestants. Performances will be judged on charisma, lip-sync precision, creativity, storytelling and stage presence. A mystery wildcard entrant will also join the competition during the event.

Betta Naan Stop will return as emcee. The judging panel will include Zeesh, Lush Monsoon and Rakhi Sawant.

The contestants include Velvet Vortex, Noor Sins, Dark Fantasy, Miss Bhenji, Amit The Shining Star and Trixie Prema.

Performances during the event will include Seventeen Sins, Colen Prince Agastya, and Aashish & Kapil.

The winner will receive the Battle Royale Crown, Championship Sceptre and Winner’s Sash, along with a sponsored stay for two at a hotel within The LaLiT Hotels portfolio, Kitty Su Beauty and The LaLiT hampers, wellness experiences from Spiceology, and a place on the official Battle Royale Winners Tour.

Kitty Su Beauty will begin with its lipstick collection and plans to expand into a wider beauty portfolio. The brand has been positioned by its founders around themes including individuality, inclusivity and self-expression.

Kitty Su, founded under The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, has operated for more than 15 years across nightlife, drag and LGBTQIA+ cultural programming.
