Noida International University (NIU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL GUVI Technologies to introduce three industry-integrated technology programmes from the 2026-27 academic session.
Under the partnership, NIU will offer B.Tech in Data Science, BCA in Data Science and B.Tech in Semiconductor Technologies. The collaboration aims to combine academic learning with practical exposure and industry-oriented skills in emerging technology areas.
As part of the initiative, HCL GUVI will conduct training sessions for NIU’s admission counsellors to help them explain the programmes, their learning structure and career-oriented outcomes to prospective students and parents. The technology company will also provide presentations and supporting material for the counselling process.
NIU Chairman Dr Devesh Kumar Singh said the partnership would help students gain exposure to emerging technologies and develop skills aligned with the changing requirements of the technology sector.
A representative of HCL GUVI Technologies said the collaboration was aimed at strengthening the connection between academic education and industry requirements through structured learning and practical training.
The partnership expands the existing association between NIU and HCL GUVI, with a focus on Data Science and Semiconductor Technologies. HCL GUVI has also worked with educational institutions through initiatives such as GenAI Learnathons, Skillathons, hackathons and faculty development programmes covering areas including Generative AI, Python, Data Analytics and Blockchain with AI.
The collaboration comes as admissions for the 2026-27 academic session are underway.
