Techno Gamerz releases debut cinematic action film ‘Mumbai Heist’ on YouTube

Gaming content creator Techno Gamerz, whose real name is Ujjwal Chaurasia, has released his first live-action cinematic film, Mumbai Heist, expanding beyond gameplay videos into scripted digital entertainment.

The action film premiered on YouTube on June 28 and is inspired by the open-world action gameplay associated with the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) franchise. The story follows Techno Gamerz on a mission to steal a high-performance car through a series of action sequences set across Mumbai.

According to the creators, Mumbai Heist combines live-action storytelling with themes and visual elements commonly associated with open-world gaming. The production features action sequences, vehicle chases and cinematic visuals while placing the narrative in an Indian setting.

Techno Gamerz has more than 50 million subscribers on YouTube and a combined social media following of over 70 million across platforms. He is known for narrative-driven gameplay content based on titles such as Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft and Hitman.

Speaking about the project, Chaurasia said GTA has been one of his favourite game franchises and that storytelling has remained central to his content. He said Mumbai Heist was created to recreate the excitement of the gaming experience in a live-action format.

The release reflects a broader trend of digital creators expanding into long-form entertainment and original productions as India’s creator economy continues to evolve.

Techno Gamerz has also announced that he will reveal the “next heist” if Mumbai Heist receives more than one million comments, encouraging audience participation to unlock the next chapter.

The creator is managed by Opraah. Mumbai Heist is available to watch on Techno Gamerz’s official YouTube channel.
