RAPOO has launched the C1630 Video Conference Camera, a professional-grade 4K PTZ camera designed for conference rooms, classrooms, training centres and hybrid workspaces.
The company said the camera combines 4K Ultra-HD imaging, AI-powered tracking, PTZ functionality and multiple connectivity options to support video conferencing across enterprise, education and government environments.
According to RAPOO, the C1630 is equipped with a high-resolution imaging sensor that delivers 4K Ultra-HD video for presentations, meetings and virtual collaboration. It features AI-enabled Presenter Tracking and Group Framing technologies that automatically keep speakers and participants in focus during meetings.
The camera comes with 12x optical zoom and a motorised pan-tilt-zoom mechanism offering up to 340-degree horizontal pan and 120-degree vertical tilt, allowing users to capture speakers and presentation content across large meeting spaces.
For deployment, the device supports USB 5V, DC 12V and Power over Ethernet (PoE) power options. Connectivity includes RS232, RS485, RJ45, USB and HDMI interfaces, enabling integration with professional audiovisual systems.
RAPOO said the camera also incorporates low-light optimisation and intelligent noise-reduction technologies to maintain image quality in different lighting conditions. It is compatible with collaboration platforms including Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, FaceTime for Mac, QQ and WeChat.
The company said the C1630 offers plug-and-play functionality without requiring additional drivers and supports Windows, macOS, Linux and Android operating systems.
The RAPOO C1630 Video Conference Camera is backed by a 24-month warranty and is available through the company’s authorised partners and reseller network. Pricing has not been disclosed.
