Ashiana Housing Launches Season 2 of ‘Adding Zindagi to Years’ Podcast

Ashiana Housing Ltd. has launched the second season of its podcast series “Adding Zindagi to Years”, continuing conversations around active ageing, purpose and community living for senior citizens.

The company said the new season will feature six episodes and will be available on digital platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Hubhopper and Apple Podcasts.

Unlike the first season, which featured well-known personalities and influencers, the second season highlights stories of individuals whose experiences reflect everyday inspiration. The new season also includes voices from different regions of the country, including South and Western India.

The podcast introduces a new segment titled “Zindagi Bookmark”, where guests share a life lesson drawn from their personal journey. According to the company, the segment aims to capture insights and reflections gathered over different phases of life.

Season 2 was recorded at Ashiana Amodh in Pune and features residents sharing experiences of discovering new interests and activities after retirement.

Ankur Gupta, Joint Managing Director of Ashiana Housing Ltd., said the initiative aims to highlight how life after retirement can remain active and fulfilling. “Through these conversations, we hope to encourage a broader dialogue on how seniors can live with independence, dignity and joy,” he said.

India has been witnessing a steady rise in its senior population due to higher life expectancy and changing family structures. Industry observers note that awareness around senior living communities and independent lifestyles for seniors has also been increasing in recent years.

The first season of “Adding Zindagi to Years” received industry recognition at the HT Podmasters, the e4m Golden Mikes and the Indian Audio Summit and Awards.

The final episode of the new season will bring together senior living developers to discuss the future of senior housing communities in India. The podcast aims to encourage conversations around ageing with dignity and meaningful engagement in later years.
