Noida International University Hosts ICIMIS-2026 on AI–Business Fusion

Noida International University (NIU), Greater Noida, through its School of Business Management, organised a two-day international conference titled “AI–Business Fusion: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Multidisciplinary Innovation and Sustainability (ICIMIS-2026).” Held in hybrid mode, the event brought together academicians, industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers to discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence in business, governance, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

The conference was conducted with the support of Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of NIU, and Dr. Vikram Singh, Chancellor, who highlighted the importance of AI in business transformation and nation-building. Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Kumar Verma, Dean of the School of Business Management, outlined the objectives of ICIMIS-2026 and the university’s focus on promoting multidisciplinary research and innovation.

Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bharadwaj, Vice Chancellor of NIU, spoke about integrating emerging technologies into higher education. The Chief Guest, Prof. Rana Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of Gautam Buddha University, shared insights on the role of AI in governance, academia, and sustainable development.

The event featured keynote addresses from national and international experts, including Prof. Dr. Prem Kumar Rajagopal of Malaysia University of Science & Technology, Prof. Dr. M.K. Dutta of Amity University, Vivek Ranjan Rai from the Cyber Crime Cell, Lata Gautam from the Ministry of Labour & Employment, and senior academicians from leading institutions.

A panel discussion focused on practical applications of AI in business decision-making, ethical AI, cybersecurity, agriculture, supply chain management, fintech, and workforce upskilling. Industry representatives from TCS, Patanjali, Binsar Farms, NIFTEM-K, and the financial services sector participated, encouraging strong industry-academia dialogue.

Around 300 delegates attended the conference, with over 200 research papers presented through online and offline sessions. Dedicated networking interactions and paper presentation tracks further strengthened academic and corporate linkages.

The conference concluded with a valedictory address summarising key outcomes and emphasising the importance of sustained collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers to leverage AI for inclusive and sustainable development.
