Durakraft, a manufacturer of uPVC door and window profiles, has introduced its new Fold & Slide uPVC Door System aimed at enhancing modern residential and commercial spaces with improved design flexibility and functionality.
The newly launched system is designed to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor areas, in line with the growing preference for open layouts and energy-efficient designs. It features precision-engineered uPVC profiles and advanced hardware that support durability, thermal efficiency and sound insulation.
According to the company, the door panels fold and slide smoothly to create wide openings without compromising structural stability. The system supports wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling applications, offering architects and designers greater freedom in planning large, uninterrupted spaces.
Ankit Modi, Managing Director of Durakraft Extrusions, said the demand for open and flexible architectural solutions is increasing. He noted that the Fold & Slide systems are built to deliver large openings while maintaining safety, performance and long-term reliability.
The Luxuria range under this system includes multiple variants — FS330, FS431, FS550, FS633 and FS651 — with configurations of up to seven panels. The doors operate on a concertina-style folding mechanism and run on a dedicated track, with stacking options on either side. The system supports frame widths up to 7,000 mm, sash widths up to 1,000 mm, sash weights up to 130 kg and heights up to 2,500 mm. It can accommodate glazing thickness of up to 32 mm.
Durakraft said the system is built to withstand India’s varied climatic conditions, offering resistance to humidity, UV exposure, corrosion and termite damage, while requiring minimal maintenance.
With this launch, the company aims to strengthen its portfolio of design-driven and performance-focused uPVC solutions.
