FICCI and ARISE Join Hands to Strengthen India’s School Education Sector

The Association for Reinventing School Education (ARISE), India’s apex body for private school reform, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) to jointly advance the school education sector in India.

The MoU outlines collaboration between the two organisations in areas such as policy advocacy, research, knowledge events, and global engagement, with a shared goal of improving the quality and outcomes of K-12 education. India’s school system — the largest in the world — currently educates over 260 million children across 1.5 million schools and 50+ education boards.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Jyoti Vij, Director General, FICCI, and Mr. Vinesh Menon, Director General & CEO, ARISE, in the presence of senior representatives from both institutions during the 8th ARISE Annual School Education Conference held in New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Vij said, “FICCI has always been a strong proponent of K-12 education. This partnership with ARISE strengthens our shared vision of transforming India’s school education landscape.”

Mr. Menon added, “With FICCI’s formal backing, ARISE is now positioned as India’s only industry chamber dedicated to the K-12 sector. Together, we aim to make Bharat Viksit through meaningful education reforms.”
