KARAM Safety, a leading global provider of PPE and fall protection solutions, has reiterated its commitment to community development and social responsibility through impactful CSR initiatives this festive season — a Diwali Kiosk promoting women empowerment and a Blood Donation Camp supporting children with Thalassemia.
In partnership with Rangoli Jan Shikshan & Gramin Vikas Sansthan, KARAM Safety organized a festive Diwali kiosk at its Lucknow facility, featuring handmade products created by women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The initiative benefitted over 200 women by supporting their financial independence and helping them turn their skills into sustainable income opportunities. Proceeds from the kiosk were donated to the NGO, further strengthening community impact.
Complementing its focus on empowerment, KARAM Safety also hosted a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Thalassemics India Society, Lucknow, to meet the critical need for blood transfusions among children suffering from Thalassemia. The drive saw enthusiastic participation from KARAM Safety employees, many of whom volunteered and donated blood.
Speaking about the initiatives, Ms. Kavita Nigam, CHRO, KARAM Safety, said, “At KARAM Safety, we believe true progress lies in empowering people and supporting vulnerable sections of society. These initiatives reflect our deep-rooted commitment to creating meaningful change and reaffirm our belief that social responsibility is integral to who we are.”
Through these initiatives, KARAM Safety continues to build its legacy as a responsible and compassionate organization, fostering empowerment, inclusivity, and community well-being beyond the workplace.
