In a landmark move for India’s gaming industry, Dirtcube Interactive LLP has announced a collaboration with Gods and Heroes Studio Pvt. Ltd. to co-develop Gods of Cricket (GOC) — a next-generation cricket video game described as the world’s first full-scale 11v11 real-time cricket experience. The Beta version of the game is scheduled to go live on November 23, 2025.
The partnership extends beyond a financial investment, combining Dirtcube’s technical and operational expertise with Gods and Heroes Studio’s creative design and production capabilities. Together, the two Indian studios aim to deliver an authentic yet dynamic digital cricket experience that blends international formats with the energy of street cricket. Players will be able to customize characters, form teams, and compete in formats ranging from casual to professional tournaments.
Speaking on the collaboration, Shravan Paidipala, Founder and CEO, Gods and Heroes Studio, said the project aims to reimagine digital cricket for global audiences while retaining its Indian identity. Mikhail Bhuta, Founder, Dirtcube Interactive, emphasized that the partnership represents a shared creative vision, calling Gods of Cricket “a project with global ambition and an Indian heart.”
The game’s infrastructure will run on Specter, Dirtcube’s proprietary Backend-as-a-Service platform, managing real-time multiplayer systems, in-game economies, and LiveOps. Pravan Parikh, Co-founder, Dirtcube, noted that the partnership reflects the strength of Indian developers in building scalable, high-performance gaming platforms.
The collaboration follows Dirtcube’s successful release of GameStarz, a mobile-based social gaming universe. As India’s gaming sector continues to grow — valued at ₹8,248 crore and projected to expand at over 23% CAGR through 2027 — Gods of Cricket represents a step forward for India’s game development ecosystem on the global stage.
