Air India Adds Temporary Flights to Kolkata from Four Cities for Durga Puja Festivities

Air India, India’s leading global airline, has announced the addition of temporary flights to Kolkata from four major Indian cities to accommodate the increased travel demand during the upcoming Durga Puja festivities.

Starting September 20, 2024, Air India will operate daily, non-stop flights to Kolkata from Bengaluru and Hyderabad for nearly a month. Additionally, the airline has already increased the frequency of flights to Kolkata from Delhi, effective August 15, 2024, and will do so from Mumbai starting September 25, 2024.

With these new additions, the frequency of flights on the Delhi-Kolkata route will rise from 28x weekly to 35x weekly, and on the Mumbai-Kolkata route from 21x weekly to 28x weekly. The newly added flights are scheduled at convenient times, offering travelers greater flexibility and ease as they plan to visit their loved ones during the festive season.

Air India’s flights to and from Kolkata are also strategically timed to provide seamless connections through its hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to and from international destinations including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and various countries in Europe and Southeast Asia.
