FIIB Hosts Successful 5th Edition of TEDxFIIB: “Brave Conversations: Navigating Difficult Dialogues”

New Delhi, March 7, 2024 – Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi, proudly concluded its fifth edition of TEDxFIIB, held at the Ishwar Dayal Auditorium on March 2nd, 2024. Themed “Brave Conversations: Navigating Difficult Dialogues,” the event witnessed a day filled with inspiring talks from a diverse array of speakers, leaving the audience enlightened and motivated.

The journey of TEDxFIIB, which commenced in 2018 with a vision to empower FIIB students under the theme ‘Embracing the Empowered Self,’ has evolved into a platform for ‘ideas worth spreading’ by 2024. Prof. Radhika Shrivastava, Executive Director of FIIB, delivered an invigorating opening address, reflecting on the event’s remarkable growth and emphasizing the transformative power of ideas.

Dr. Gunwant Singh Mongia, Chairman and MD of Mongia Steel Limited, shared insights on disrupting the not-for-profit sector, advocating for community development alongside business growth.

Social Worker and Entrepreneur Biswajeet Jha captivated the audience with his journey of self-discovery and service, emphasizing the profound impact of compassion in driving meaningful change. Pukhraj Joneja, CEO of Udaan India, highlighted the essence of servant leadership and holistic growth in achieving success.

Chitra Zutshi, renowned as “The Girl on Wheels,” shared her inspiring story of overcoming challenges with resilience and determination, urging others to embrace adversity. Dr. Ehteshaam Waquarib, an IPS Officer, shed light on his impactful work in combating social injustices, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Niraj Gera, Founder Chairman of Humanify Foundation, sparked conversations on gender equality through his advocacy for women’s rights. Additionally, collaborative efforts by Nirupama Subramanian and S. Venkatesh underscored the importance of unity in empowering marginalized communities.
